The Scottish Highlands

Tour & Walk Scotland in Small Group & Private Adventures

Multi-day ‘Tour & Trek’ excursions explore our more distant regions. This page of tours features the Highlands, mostly on the mainland (although one or two here include trips across to a nearby island). If you’re specifically interested in our islands, then select the ‘Islands’ on the’ Multi-days’ tab. The Highland region features stunning scenery and some places with as remote a feel as many of the islands. Don’t think the islands have it all!

We’ll also see the Cairngorm Mountains.

Wild About Argyll

4 days / 3 nights

Argyll is a beautiful, unspoilt region, bypassed by the majority of tourists as it is tucked out of the way, not en route to the most popular hotspots. This trip enjoys the tranquillity and the wildness of the place, characterised by rugged hills, long sea lochs and inland waters. It’s oozing with history from Neolithic sites to the fortress at Dunadd, the epicentre of Scotland in its infancy.

If you want to major on hiking some of Scotland’s finest summits, then check out these 3 hiking weeks: Cairngorms - Assynt in the far North-West - and Knoydart region.
